The Assault on Free Speech

The federal government, big pharma, and big tech are out to silence, censor, and demonize anyone who dares speak out against Covid-19, election fraud, climate change, and just about anything and everything that goes against their mainstream narrative, going so far as calling these people “criminals” and “domestic terrorists”. This rising authoritarianism and assault on free speech in the United States is not only unconstitutional but it is also quite alarming. We are truly living in Orwellian times, when true patriots and truth tellers are being called out as “conspiracy theorists”, “white supremacists”, “racists” and worse. Think about this. If they are able to censor and ban a sitting president of the United States of America citing hate speech, misinformation, disinformation (which are just labels to get the populace to discredit opposing information that the “powers that be” don’t like), then free speech is in danger and anyone is at their mercy. This has to stop. This is not America. You have to ask yourself who stands to gain by censoring truth and opposing points of view?

YouTube Disables its "Dislike" Button

YouTube’s statement re: why it chose to disable the “dislike” button:

By The YouTube Team
Nov.10.2021

At YouTube, we strive to be a place where creators of all sizes and backgrounds can find and share their voice. To ensure that YouTube promotes respectful interactions between viewers and creators, we introduced several features and policies to improve their experience. And earlier this year, we experimented with the dislike button to see whether or not changes could help better protect our creators from harassment, and reduce dislike attacks — where people work to drive up the number of dislikes on a creator’s videos. We’re making the dislike counts private across YouTube, but the dislike button is not going away. This change will start gradually rolling out today.

As part of this experiment, viewers could still see and use the dislike button. But because the count was not visible to them, we found that they were less likely to target a video’s dislike button to drive up the count. In short, our experiment data showed a reduction in dislike attacking behavior1. We also heard directly from smaller creators and those just getting started that they are unfairly targeted by this behavior — and our experiment confirmed that this does occur at a higher proportion on smaller channels.

Based on what we learned, we’re making the dislike counts private across YouTube, but the dislike button is not going away. This change will start gradually rolling out today. YouTube

Interesting that this change came about after so many more “dislikes” than “likes” of the Biden Administration posts, and feedback to Fauci’s recent documentary. Seems more like a case of censorship than sparing the “feelings” of some of its creators to negative responses.
