DeSantis Pledges Support for New ‘Civil Right’ In Florida

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is moving once again to enhance the personal liberty of state residents with a pledge to protect what he is describing as a new “civil right.”

Specifically, the GOP governor will move to protect Floridians from vaccine and mask discrimination.

During a Thursday press conference, DeSantis noted that most of the state’s rules related to the COVID-19 pandemic are expected to expire in July. However, the governor said he would push for additional protections from vaccine discrimination as well as protecting residents from forced masking policies.
