The Nevada official accused of killing an investigative journalist over unfavorable coverage gave a jailhouse interview to the journalist’s newspaper.

In his jailhouse interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles refused to talk about his role in Jeff German’s death. Telles used the dodge that law enforcement uses when they don’t want to answer, saying he couldn’t comment because of the ongoing investigation.
