City Officials Lead Hate Campaign Against Women

Like so much of the trans movement, inversions of reality abound. Terms like “discrimination” have been expropriated by those doing the real discriminating onto those being discriminated against. “Exclusionary” and “radical” are likewise inverted, projected onto women simply asking for basic rights by the actual radical extremists.

As noted in my previous article, in early August, city leaders betrayed public trust and hammered a wedge unlike any I’ve ever seen in Port Townsend. At the August 1st city council meeting, citizens who expressed concerns about women’s privacy rights were at the receiving end of the inversion, called bigots and trans-haters.

In his summation following public comments, Mayor David Faber joined those doing the name-calling, twisting the narrative of a request for common-sense solutions into a trans-rights call to action, grandstanding behind his mask about hate and discrimination having no place in our “welcoming” community. Those who had actually delivered the hate that night were lauded as the inclusive ones, protecting a special and fragile minority.
