A Houston teacher locked her 13-year-old son in the trunk of her car this week to avoid exposure to COVID-19, authorities said.

The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Police Department issued an arrest warrant Wednesday for Sarah Hadassah Beam, 41, who faces a felony charge of endangering a child.
